Now its down to a damn science! We rent boats so there is no driving all over for loaners (by me). We paddle the same stretch, Peterson to low 2 days, but we re-spot the boats ourselves. Kabrew 4 was the start of the current format and we don't see it changing: Travel to river Thursday, paddle Friday and Saturday, Travel home Sunday. We have it down so well we actually get shirts made. We don't have 20+ years like some of the groups we've seen, but you can bet we have better shirts.
Kabrew 4 is the year of the river gypsies. A group of paddlers get together and paddles the river on Thurs and/or Friday then they put the paddles away and on Saturday they setup camp on the bank of the river way downstream about a half mile from the takeout. They wear costumes, play music, drink booze, and in our case they wade out in the water and hijack our boats with us in them and have us do Captain Morgan shots. Great group that certainly has their system figured out.

Kabrew 4 was 9 Kabrewers strong.
