Repeating the format of Kabrew 4 K5 went off without a hitch despite a challenge from mother nature. Kabrew 5 had the worst weather in Kabrew's short history [Update: this is still the case after 13 years of Kabrew]. Overcast most of the weekend.  Chilly and drizzle all morning. However once we started paddling, within a mile of the put-in on both days, the skies cleared and it warmed up enough to make it a great trip. The numbers were way down on the river, obviously due to the weather, but K5 was a success.

Notable:  Day 1 we forgot the jello shot cooler at camp.  So day 2 there was a major surplus.  A serious dent was put into that surplus by the crew waiting at the put-in, while we were spotting the truck at the take-out.

7 Kabrewers braved the swift waters.
