Diificult to summarize now because we've gotten so consistent. Same agenda as before, same great outcome. Here are a few highlights:

  • Day 1 was Friday the 13th - so I suggested we all shell out the $25 and get cheap Jason mask/machete, however, as I kind of was afraid of, I was the only one to participate. Still worth it, although 12 of us (a new Kabrew record) would have been pretty stellar.
  • The gayest moment in Kabrew history occurs as the majority of the crew all lay down in the sand at the bank of the river to watch the meteor shower. Gazing at the sky, pointing, "did you see that one". It was totally gay and eventually we all just went back to the pile.
  • The christening of the Kabrew Bull Horn. It is no secret to most in our crew that I was once a games operator/department head (manager) at an amusement park (otherwise carney except it wasn't a traveling gig). I did this for 8 summers and got a lot of practice on the microphone (carney barking). These skills were put to use on the river, and, rather than trying to get dollar bills from all the past by, I made slight modifications to the typical calls. The result was more river-boob than any other Kabrew - by far. Not to mention a pretty large crowd.
  • Unfortunately they sold out of permits to legally paddle our private boats on Saturday. To make the best of it, we decided to paddle a raft instead. The party raft took a long time to get down stream but it was hella-fun and probably something we will do again.
  • 1 member of the crew passes out drunk and ends up sleeping, presumably drawers down in the vault toilet. Must have been one heck of a BM.
