15 Years of Kabrew!  

July 19-20 2019 planned (paddle days)

• Good Paddle Friday
• Severe storms rolled in overnight Friday and continued throughout the day Saturday.  Severe winds, sideways rain, etc.  We chose to scrap Saturday... just more drinking/tail-gaiting games, etc.  We were lucky enough to have access to a large event tent, large enough for indoor tail-gaiting games, this made things a lot more palatable.  Certainly bummed not to paddle, but that would have been a hell paddle, and the weather was going to scare most of the typical paddlers off.  This was confirmed by another group we saw at the store (a group we've seen on the river in past years).  They said it sucked, lots of bailing water out of boats, cold, generally a shit show.  Chilly rain + spring fed river + heavy winds = shitty.  Mother Nature gets the win on this one, but at least we got a paddle in Friday before the storms rolled in.
